XLSmart said it supports the government's efforts to provide access to telecommunications services, including internet networks, to remote areas of Indonesia.
"We have conveyed that XLSmart's spirit is to always support government programs. Including equal provision of telecommunications access to regions," said XLSmart's Head of External Communications Henry Wijayanto when met in Central Jakarta, Tuesday.
Henry hopes that there will be incentives from the government to increase the involvement of cellular operators in the development of telecommunications service infrastructure in regions, especially those not yet covered by the internet network.
"Incentives are what all operators expect, for example regulatory charges and ease of licensing, those are also incentives," he said.
