Zou Xingtong was sentenced to solitary confinement for her 36-hour hunger strike during the June 4th incident

Zou Xingtong, the former vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China, who is currently in custody, posted on the membership platform on Friday (June 6) that he was punished for going on a hunger strike for 36 hours to commemorate the June 4th Incident and was placed in solitary confinement. Zou Xingtong updated her status on Patreon, an online membership platform. She thanked everyone for their own ways of remembering and commemorating June 4th. She also stated that she has completed her hunger strike and is feeling a little tired, but her health is generally good. Zou Xingtong explained that while in solitary confinement, she has only a bed and the song "Freedom Flower," which the Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China (ADM) always sings at its annual June 4th candlelight vigil. She shared a post of the song as a tribute to the Tiananmen Mothers, Li Wangyang, a June 4th activist suspected of suicide, her brothers and sisters, and their families, wishing them peace and freedom. Lyrics of "Free Flower" The unforgettable years will not erode Deep in my heart I still remember that year and that night I once regretted that the years have turned into strength A little truth, an ideal, forever searching I continue to sail forward without knowing why I am afraid Cut away all the thorns and brambles without looking at them any more. Yesterday, the crowd didn't say a word I don't want to analyze too much whether it's true or false. But there is one dream I won't remember. No matter how hard the rain falls, freedom will still bloom But there is one dream I won't remember. It comes from your heart, remember it Unforgettable, leaving behind an immortal consciousness I deeply believe that it will come true someday This message still depends on you and me to do our best Work harder to continue searching for this ideal I continue to sail forward without knowing why I am afraid Cut away all the thorns and brambles without looking at them any more. Yesterday, the crowd didn't say a word I don't want to analyze too much whether it's true or false. But there is one dream I won't remember. No matter how hard the rain falls, freedom will still bloom But there is one dream I won't remember. It comes from your heart, remember it

Lyrics of "Free Flower"

The unforgettable years will not erode

Deep in my heart I still remember that year and that night

I once regretted that the years have turned into strength

A little truth, an ideal, forever searching

I continue to sail forward without knowing why I am afraid

Cut away all the thorns and brambles without looking at them any more.

Yesterday, the crowd didn't say a word

I don't want to analyze too much whether it's true or false.

But there is one dream I won't remember.

No matter how hard the rain falls, freedom will still bloom

But there is one dream I won't remember.

It comes from your heart, remember it

Unforgettable, leaving behind an immortal consciousness

I deeply believe that it will come true someday

This message still depends on you and me to do our best

Work harder to continue searching for this ideal

I continue to sail forward without knowing why I am afraid

Cut away all the thorns and brambles without looking at them any more.

Yesterday, the crowd didn't say a word

I don't want to analyze too much whether it's true or false.

But there is one dream I won't remember.

No matter how hard the rain falls, freedom will still bloom

But there is one dream I won't remember.

It comes from your heart, remember it
