Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and Gushcloud International are collaborating to establish a creator hub in Abu Dhabi focused on nurturing a new generation of digital talent, in line with the rapidly growing creator economy globally.
"Gushcloud's entry into Abu Dhabi aligns with our ambition to build a world-class creator economy," said ADIO Director General Badr Al-Olama in an official statement on Monday.
Through this long-term strategic partnership, Gushcloud will open a regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi as a base of operations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
This step is projected to be a catalyst in producing new digital content creators while supporting the creativity of young people so they can compete at the global level.
The global creator industry is expected to grow from US$224.2 billion in 2025 to more than US$2.71 trillion in 2037. Abu Dhabi is also considered a new magnet for digital talent, as social media users in the United Arab Emirates are projected to increase to 11.54 million by 2029.
