The Artificial Intelligence Institute for Progress (AIIP) has launched the second phase of its Project 80/20 program as part of an effort to accelerate the development of Indonesian technology talent in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).
Special Staff for Innovation and Cooperation of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture Ferro Ferizka Aryananda at the launch said that human resource (HR) capacity building is the foundation of the nation's competitiveness in the digital era.
According to him, the government has formed an AI Talent Task Force as an initial step to ensure Indonesia has an adequate talent ecosystem.
"Currently, one of our main focuses is preparing future talent in the AI field. We must ensure that we are not only intelligent AI users, but also wise users," Ferro said in his remarks.
