The Brigades announced via its Telegram channel that these were "photos of the pure martyred leaders being published for the first time," and included individual and group photos showing meetings of prominent leaders in the movement.
The photos included former Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh and his successor Yahya Sinwar, as well as Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades Chief of Staff Mohammed Deif, his deputy Marwan Issa, and Gaza Brigade Commander Bassem Issa.
Pictures of the commander of the Qassam Brigades, Mohammed Sinwar, the commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade, Rafeh Salama (Abu Muhammad), and the leader Raed Thabet (Abu Muhammad) also appeared.
This is the first time Hamas has published photos of Mohammed Deif, who for more than 20 years remained a mysterious figure to Israel. The movement announced his assassination in an Israeli airstrike on January 30.
The publication of these materials came after a report by the official Hebrew Channel (Kan) on Saturday evening, which stated that the occupation army attempted to assassinate the spokesman for the Qassam Brigades (Abu Obeida) in an airstrike targeting the Al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City.
The Israeli military stated only that it had targeted "a key Hamas leader," while the movement did not issue an official comment regarding the results of the raid.

The video included photos and footage shown for the first time, along with a song that said: "You are here in our land, like our purest roots... like the minarets, our shadow, and the guest, if he ascends."
The video included footage of armed members of the Brigades, footage of the bombing of Israeli sites from Gaza, and Palestinian crowds at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem. It also included footage of Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa, which the movement carried out on October 7, 2023, targeting Israeli military sites and settlements near the Gaza Strip, resulting in deaths and prisoners. The video was released in response to what the movement described as "the occupation's daily crimes against the Palestinian people and their holy sites, most notably Al-Aqsa Mosque."
