Apple announced that they will introduce a redesigned blood oxygen monitoring feature for several of their smartwatches starting from the Apple Watch Series 8, Series 10, and the Apple Watch Ultra.
This announcement confirms Apple's move to bring back the feature after previously being blocked by an import ban from the US International Trade Commission (ITC).
As reported by TechCrunch on Thursday (August 14th), this blood oxygen monitoring feature will be measured and calculated on the user's connected iPhone. The results will be visible in the "Respiration" section of the "Health" app.
