Apple has signaled its serious steps to catch up in the artificial intelligence (AI) competition and in its third-quarter earnings report, Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that the technology is now the company's top priority.
"We see AI as one of the most revolutionary technologies in our lives. We're embedding it into all our devices, platforms, and internal processes. We're also significantly increasing our investment in this area," Tim said, as quoted by Tech Crunch on Friday.
He emphasized that Apple's strategy remains focused on making advanced technology easy to use and accessible to everyone. Tim also revealed that Apple has reallocated a significant portion of its workforce to focus on AI development.
"We have a great team and we are putting all our energy into this now," he said.
