Arsenal's new striker Viktor Gyokeres is predicted to have an "incredible impact" this season, according to manager Mikel Arteta ahead of his debut against Manchester United.
This match at Old Trafford will open the 2025/26 season, a rare encounter for the two Premier League rivals.
Arsenal spent nearly 200 million pounds in the summer transfer window to bring in six new players, including Gyokeres.
"I can only speak about Viktor and how delighted we are to have him. He will have a big impact on the team, and his adaptation has gone very well," Arteta said in a press conference quoted from the club's official website.
"Many strikers from other leagues have succeeded here. Our job is to create the right conditions for Viktor to do what he does best: score goals."
The Swedish striker has been a target for many clubs after scoring 54 goals in all competitions for Sporting last season.
