Atletico Madrid officially signs Giacomo Raspadori from Napoli

Atletico Madrid has officially announced the signing of Italian national team striker Giacomo Raspadori in this summer's transfer window.

"Giacomo Raspadori is a new Atletico Madrid player after reaching a transfer agreement with Napoli," the Spanish club said in a statement on its website on Monday.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Napoli paid a total of €26 million (Rp499 billion). The deal includes an initial €22 million fee and an additional €4 million in bonuses related to Champions League participation.

Raspadori signed a five-year contract, which will tie him to the club until 2030.

Atletico Madrid have been interested in Raspadori since last June, when they also completed the transfer of Matteo Ruggeri from Atalanta.

Raspadori became a priority target after negotiations for players.
