Chihuahua, Chih., August 11.- Gunmen set fire to four convenience stores in different parts of Ciudad Juárez this afternoon, and shot at employees and customers, leaving two women dead and five injured.
The Municipal Public Security Secretariat of Ciudad Juárez (SSPM) confirmed four attacks with firearms and Molotov cocktails against Oxxo, Del Río, Circle K, and Rapiditos Bip-Bip stores, located on Ejército Nacional Avenue, Zaragoza Boulevard, Oscar Flores Boulevard, and in the Infonavit Juárez Nuevo neighborhood.
At the Rapiditos Bip-Bip convenience store, the gunmen threw Molotov cocktails without warning, trapping two employees in the flames, killing them. At the Circle K on Oscar Flores Boulevard, they shot four people: two men, a 15-year-old boy, and a woman.
Another attack occurred against an Oxxo on Ejército Nacional Avenue and at a Del Río store located on Zaragoza Boulevard at the corner of Sierra Tarahumara Street, in the southeast of Ciudad Juárez, where armed men beat the employees and shot one, leaving him injured in the abdomen.
