Defending Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich continued their impressive run of form with a narrow 3-2 win over Augsburg at the WWK Arena.
This victory puts Bayern firmly at the top of the Bundesliga standings with six points, level with Eintracht Frankfurt in second place.
Augsburg is in fifth place with three points, according to the German League website.
Bayern took the lead in the 28th minute through Serge Gnabry's header, latching onto a precise cross from Harry Kane. The goal broke the deadlock after a powerful attack from the right flank.
Just before halftime, Luis Diaz doubled Bayern's lead to 2-0. Following a neat link-up play between Michael Olise and Konrad Laimer, Diaz finished off a cutback with a close-range tap-in.
Bayern immediately stepped on the gas in the second half. Michael Olise made it 3-0 early in the second half.
