Trump's tariff threat would hurt Canadian and American workers: Trudeau
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau warned Wednesday that imposing a 25 percent tariff would be detrimental to both Canadian and American workers and lead to job losses on both sides of the border, in response to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's tariff threat.
Trudeau held a virtual meeting with the 13 provincial premiers Wednesday night to discuss Trump's tariff threat, according to a statement released by the Canadian prime minister's office.
