Mexico City, June 30.- U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to Cancun on July 6 and 7 to participate in the third meeting of the Free Trade Commission (FTC) of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) with Secretary of Economy Raquel Buenrostro and Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development of Canada, Mary Ng.
Officials will review the ongoing work of the USMCA committees and working groups to continue implementing the agreement, according to a statement from the U.S. government.
They will discuss how the parties can further facilitate economic growth and investment to increase competitiveness in North America. They will also hear from private sector and labor representatives on how the USMCA can benefit workers and small businesses in all three countries.
