Chelsea have officially announced the signing of Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.
"We are delighted to announce the transfer of Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United," Chelsea wrote on its website on Sunday.
The Blues said the 21-year-old Argentina international has signed a long-term contract until 2032.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will splash out £40 million (Rp886 billion).
The Madrid-born and -raised player boasts impressive experience, having made 93 Premier League appearances for Manchester United, scoring 16 goals.
One of his most memorable goals was a spectacular overhead kick against Everton, which won the 2024 FIFA Puskas Award.
Over the past two seasons, he has been a regular in the Manchester United first team. In a statement, Garnacho expressed his excitement at joining Chelsea.
