Tijuana, April 21.- Starting today and continuing through April 30, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) will administer COVID-19 vaccinations in the parking lot of the Agua Caliente Racetrack, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., reported Corporación Caliente, which has made the space available.
First, second, and third doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will be administered to people over 18 years of age.
The head of the agency in Baja California, Desirée Sagarnaga, emphasized that this is a massive event, so IMSS membership is not required: "What we're looking for is to protect the entire population."
In addition, the AstraZeneca vaccine will be administered to all beneficiaries who request it at the Social Security Family Medicine Units (UMF). They simply need to go to the UMF where they are assigned and request the vaccination.
