Mexico City, February 15.- The Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, Santiago Creel Miranda (PAN), offered, “with no other interest than the defense of freedom of expression,” to defend Carlos Loret de Mola pro bono , “against the violations committed by the President,” and also of “journalists defamed or persecuted by the government; they are not alone.”
PRI Senatorial Coordinator Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong, questioned about President Andrés Manuel López Obrador's revelations about Loret's income, said the federal government is violating the law.
"It would be very important for the Legal Department to provide you with information on what can and cannot be made public. Those subject to the obligation are public servants, those who have a responsibility stemming from the treasury itself, and those who are obligated as such to disclose our financial statements."
For Kenia López, the PAN's vice-coordinator in the Senate, the president's eldest son, José Ramón López Beltrán, is "in a conflict of interest over the #CasaGris ."
