Tijuana, September 19.- A total of 19 young women who are staying at the Tijuana Temporary Shelter and are about to turn fifteen have expressed interest in enjoying a celebration, for which the Baja California Family Development Agency (DIF) is seeking sponsors for these teenagers.
The institution's general director, Mónica Vargas Núñez, said the young women have expressed their desire to have a quinceañera party, so actions have been taken by the entire staff of this institution and the Tijuana Temporary Shelter.
Additionally, she emphasized that the call for participation will follow the model of the Heart Families program, involving Heart godmothers and godfathers not only in socializing, but also in their involvement in the development of these adolescents.
"We are working hard to organize a great quinceañera, where these young women will have the opportunity to celebrate reaching this age. Our commitment is to support them, and we are confident that we will make their dreams come true," said the director of DIF Baja California.
