The Indonesian smartphone market is now filled with increasingly selective consumers, especially for premium products like the iPhone. This situation has prompted Digimap to prepare a comprehensive sales strategy for the launch of the iPhone 17 in September.
"We want every customer to feel like they're getting the right recommendation, not just buying a product. Our strategy is to build awareness of Digimap while providing personalized education tailored to their needs," said Farah Fausa Winarsih, Apple Marketing GM at PT MAP Zona Perkasa, at the Grand Opening of Apple Premium Partner Pluit.
The launch of the iPhone 17 occurred just a few months after the release of the iPhone 16 in April 2025. The close release schedule is a challenge in itself, especially with the current consumer trend of being more careful in choosing devices.
To address these challenges, Digimap prioritizes an educational approach for customers. Staff at each store will engage customers in discussions to understand their needs, profession, and usage habits before recommending the most suitable iPhone model.
