Tijuana, December 19.- Municipal police officers arrested Ángel “N,” alias “El Conejito,” in connection with 14 cases of robbery with violence in convenience stores in Tijuana.
In a statement, they reported that the arrest was made on Saturday , when the detainee was speeding along Oaxaca and Narcizo streets in the Mariano Matamoros Sur neighborhood.
A review of the vehicle's information revealed a previous theft report. Furthermore, "El Conejito" had a prior record for vehicle theft.
Ángel 's name is linked to the Oxxo store robberies , so the case is being investigated by the relevant authorities. The areas where he allegedly committed the robberies are Santa Fe, Sánchez Taboada, and San Antonio de los Buenos.
Municipal police also reported that, in the last 48 hours, officers have arrested two targets in different parts of Tijuana linked to more than 30 robberies at convenience stores.
