The Turkish president added that his government was assessing the additional steps it would take in the coming period to stop the massacres in Gaza and provide more aid to the oppressed Palestinians.
Earlier on Monday, the Palestinian presidency deemed Israel's killing of five journalists while carrying out their professional duties in an attack targeting Nasser Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip a "war crime." It called on the international community to take urgent action to provide them with protection and hold Tel Aviv accountable.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, leaving 62,744 Palestinians dead and 158,259 wounded, most of them children and women. More than 9,000 are missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and 300 Palestinians, including 117 children, are facing famine.
