Fajar/Rian are still targeted to win the 2025 World Championships.

The national men's doubles pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto are still targeting victory at the 2025 World Championships, even though the pair will part ways after the tournament, which will take place in Paris, France, from August 25-31.

"Yes, the target is still to win. We have to win every tournament, even if the next one is split up. Professionally, we must still strive for the best results," said Antonius Budi Ariantho, men's doubles coach at the PBSI National Training Center in Cipayung, Jakarta, on Wednesday.

For Fajar/Rian, the 2025 World Championship could be their last as a permanent pair after 11 years together. After that, Fajar will have a duet with Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, while Rian will be paired with Jeremiah Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan.
