Following ChatGPT, Google releases Guided Learning feature in Gemini

Google has launched a new feature called Guided Learning in its artificial intelligence (AI) platform, Gemini, which is designed like a virtual tutor that aims to help users understand the concept of information in depth, rather than just providing instant answers.

As reported by Tech Crunch on Thursday, this launch comes about a week after OpenAI launched a similar feature called Study Mode in ChatGPT which also focuses on developing critical thinking skills.

The tech giant's second move comes amid concerns that AI chatbots could undermine the learning process as they tend to only provide direct answers, without encouraging conceptual understanding.
