Mexicali, December 20. Businessman Francisco Fiorentini submitted a letter of intent to be considered as a citizen seeking candidacy for mayor of Mexicali.
Fiorentini stated that he seeks to be considered for the candidate selection process by the alliance formed by the PAN, PRD, and PRI , given that it is public knowledge that they are seeking citizens to join the coalition.
"If the option in Mexicali is to give a citizen that option, I formally make the request today. I want a better Mexicali, I want a Mexicali where, after six years of governments that aren't doing well," he stated.
Fiorentini asked the PAN leadership to hold an election day with party members, despite never having been a member of any electoral organization.
“Pancho” Fiorentini said he was recognized as part of a community of citizen entrepreneurs who have participated in many things.
He ruled out the possibility that it would be impossible to beat Morena and said he had the time, passion, and opportunity for change.
" What's not fair is not fighting . There is skepticism, of course there is. Things aren't easy, but if we do it with passion, dedication, and honesty, what we can't stop doing is fighting a government that, through bad policies, is destroying institutions," he said.
