Free transportation arrives for students in Tecate, Rosarito, and San Felipe.

Mexicali, October 15. Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda announced that the free student transportation system, Comunder, is coming to Tecate, Rosarito Beach, and San Felipe. The system will operate in six of the state's seven municipalities, with 27 units circulating daily, transporting more than three thousand young people to and from school.

The state leader invited those interested to approach the State Youth Institute to become part of this system, which transports students between the ages of 14 and 29.

It should be noted that at the start of the administration in November 2021, it was noted that the units were in poor condition and lacked the technology necessary for the well-being of students, especially in the Mexicali Valley.

"Now they are new trucks with refrigeration and digitalization, so that mothers and fathers have peace of mind knowing when their daughters and sons are getting on and off, and what route they are on," he said.
