Google is reportedly working on developing a Quick Share feature to easily send files to Apple devices, namely the iPhone.
According to a report by Android Authority the discovery was made when the company disassembled the code of the latest version of Google Play Services, version 25.34.31 beta. Through this code, they discovered that Quick Share for iPhone was in development.
This also strengthens speculation circulating in early 2025 that Google was indeed preparing the Quick Share feature to be compatible with competing operating systems such as macOS and iOS.
When the code is activated, the report says a menu will appear showing how Android users can share with their iPhone.
