Tijuana, August 18. Municipal police arrested three people after an armed confrontation between invaders of Cerro Colorado broke out on Monday afternoon .
The municipal authority received a report that a fight had occurred in the invasion area in which gunshots were heard .
At the scene, police officers found a backhoe and a sedan-type vehicle with broken windows.
They also noticed that three individuals were trying to flee on foot towards the hill , so they pursued them until they were caught.
The three handguns and the three detainees were placed at the disposal of the investigating authorities.
For several weeks, a group of people have been illegally occupying the slopes of Cerro Colorado, where they have also been scraping and building without permission.
The Tijuana City Council suspended construction, but was unable to evict them because they were located in a federal zone
