Hank and Castro Trenti meet at the same place, without speaking to each other.

 Tijuana, September 30.- Businessman Jorge Hank Rhon and former Argentine ambassador  Fernando Castro Trenti met at the swearing-in ceremony of Monserrat Caballero Ramírez .

Sitting at opposite ends of the spectrum , the former PRI members attended the event, which brought together politicians, business leaders, consuls, officials from all three levels of government, social leaders, and the general public.
Hank Rhon was mayor of Tijuana in 2004 , and Castro Trenti was its general secretary .

Encounters and breakups

In 2007 , the president of the Caliente Group sought for the first time to become a PRI gubernatorial candidate .

After Hank Rhon 's failed bid , there was a split with the former Swiss ambassador, and he was accused of betraying him .

In 2013 , Castro Trenti was a candidate for governor for the PRI and did not have the support of the casino businessman , to the point that his support for the PAN candidate , Francisco Vega de Lamadrid , became public knowledge .

This year, Hank Rhon ran for governor for the second time , this time for the Solidarity Encounter Party ( PES ), with another electoral setback.
