Colors in Community, a UABC event to raise awareness of LGBT Pride Month

Mexicali, June 6. Under the theme "Reflections for a Dignified Life," the Colores en Comunidad event will take place at the University Theater on Wednesday, June 12, at 5:00 p.m., as part of LGBT Pride Month.

This celebration will begin with the photography exhibition "On the Run: An Alloy of Visual Poetics," which will showcase projects by Neotlakalel, Bashippeshi, Mayté Miranda, and others.

The celebration will continue with "Tea Time: Gossip and Community Projects," where the public can interact with cultural leaders and learn about a wide variety of Baja California projects while enjoying coffee and tea.

Additionally, various health services will be offered free of charge, such as HIV, hepatitis, and syphilis status testing, condoms, and information on pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
