Tijuana, February 12. The Universidad Iberoamericana Tijuana presented its 2023 Activities Report , outlining the main achievements, challenges, and challenges facing education in the border region, during the rectorship of Luis Arriaga Valenzuela and the general directorship of Florentino Badial Hernández.
Badial Hernández presented the main actions and results of the last year of work, based on the Fundamental Guidelines and the Strategic Planning for 2026 , through five priority areas: higher education with academic excellence and human quality; transformation of reality with a frontier logic; university identity and community; networked university and internationalization; and an efficient, sustainable, and growing university.
He reported that among the main advances of 2023 is the reopening of the third phase of the Zona Río building under the name IBERO Tijuana Campus Río, where postgraduate and continuing education activities were carried out.
Along these same lines, he highlighted that, for the first time in more than 10 years, the Spring 2024 admission period was opened for new undergraduate students.
