Tijuana, February 12. For the next three months, starting Tuesday, February 13, partial closures will begin on Federico Benítez Boulevard toward Díaz Ordaz Boulevard due to rehabilitation work on the Rosario Salado sub-collector, located on Bernardo O'Higgins or Benton Avenue.
The Tijuana State Public Services Commission (CESPT) reported that the project will cost five million pesos and consists of replacing 300 meters of 18-inch and 8-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sanitary piping ; in addition, four manholes will be installed.
The project will be carried out in four stages. The first phase involves closing a 60-meter stretch of the upstream lanes from Federico Benítez Boulevard to Gustavo Díaz Ordaz Boulevard, while also adapting the opposite lanes to operate in both directions .
Once the pipeline has been replaced in this first section, the corresponding patching work will be carried out , followed by the opening and installation of the pipeline in the following sections.
