2025 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) champions Dewa United Banten have decided to part ways with head coach Pablo Favarel and his assistant Martin Galdeano.
Dewa United Banten President Michael Oliver Wellerz also expressed his high appreciation to the two coaches who have served for the past few seasons.
"Pablo has been with Dewa United for two full seasons, while Martin has been with them for three. They have not only brought new energy and incredible professionalism to the team, but have also been instrumental in Anak Dewa's journey to becoming the 2025 IBL champion for the first time," Wellerz said on the club's website, as quoted.
Wellerz stated that his team is grateful for all the efforts and commitment of both players to help Dewa United develop over the past two or three seasons, and wishes them the best for their future careers.
He also said that the club's doors would always be open to the two of them.
Meanwhile, Pablo Favarel expressed his appreciation to the club's management and players for their cooperation over the past two seasons.
"Working with Dewa United Banten has been a truly rewarding experience. I'm proud to have been a part of this team's journey and witnessed the development of each player over the past two seasons, especially leading the club to the significant 2025 IBL title," said the Argentine coach.
