The Indonesian women's national volleyball team was again defeated by Thailand with a final score of 0-3 (16-25, 16-25, 21-25) in the second round of the 2025 SEA V League in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The Red and White team's defeat to Thailand was their second after their first round meeting which ended with a score of 1-3 (25-22, 15-25, 25-17, 12-25).
Coach Octavian, who did not change the squad in the second round, played Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi, Ersandrina Devega Salsabila, Mediol S Yoku, Shella Bernadetha, Tisya Amallya Putri, and Asih Titih Pangestuti at the start of the match.
Indonesia put up a tough fight at the start of the first set, drawing the score at 2-2, 5-5, before Thailand pulled away 8-6.
A service error and first reception error by the Indonesian players allowed Thailand to pull away with an 11-8 lead and continue to lead 16-10.
Megawati and her friends, who had difficulty stemming the counterattack, fell further behind at 12-20 and only added a few points before Thailand ended the first set with a 25-16 victory.
