The Indonesian men's national basketball team won 95-55 against Singapore in the third match of Group A of the 9th Asian School Basketball Championship (ASBC) 2025 at Sritex Arena, Solo, Central Java.
Rifky Antolyon's squad played aggressively from the start of the match, bombarding the defense of their fellow Southeast Asian opponents.
However, this resounding victory was not enough to propel Indonesia to the semifinals, as they had a 1-2 win-loss record in the group stage. In their first two matches, Indonesia lost 82-96 to China and 74-84 to Thailand.
Meanwhile, in the four quarters against Singapore, the Garuda Muda team dominated the match.
In fact, more than three players scored more than double digits in that match.
Gerrard Matthew emerged as the top scorer, with 23 points, three rebounds, and five steals.
This achievement was followed by two of his colleagues, namely Kenneth Leebron who recorded 22 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals, and Riovaldo Renjiro who scored 18 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.
