Spanish center-back Inigo Martinez has officially left Barcelona to join Saudi Arabian League club Al-Nassr in a move that has surprised many.
The 34-year-old admitted that the financial offer from Al-Nassr was so incredible that it was "impossible to refuse."
"I never thought I'd get an offer like this. No one is prepared for an offer of that magnitude," Martinez said in an interview with Goal.com, quoted on Wednesday.
"This decision was difficult because Barcelona has been an important part of my life, but the offer from Al-Nassr was really hard to say no to," he added.
