Newcastle United is reportedly one step away from completing the transfer of talented Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey in the 2025 summer transfer window.
According to renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano on Wednesday, a deal between Newcastle and Villa is “almost done,” with Ramsey reportedly keen to join Newcastle.
Newcastle have reportedly agreed a transfer fee of £40 million (Rp875 billion), with negotiations between the two clubs having entered the final stages.
The Magpies moved quickly to secure the 24-year-old's signature before their season opener against Aston Villa this weekend.
Ramsey, a product of the Aston Villa academy, has long been a target for Newcastle manager Eddie Howe.
