The Italian women's national U-21 volleyball team swept the individual awards at the 2025 Women's U-21 World Volleyball Championship.
Italy, the U-21 World Cup champion, saw three of its players win individual awards for best player in their respective positions.
Merit Adigwe, the backbone of Italy during the tournament held in Surabaya, East Java, was awarded the title of best player and best opponent.
Dalila Marchesini was named the best middle blocker, while Teresa Bosso was named the tournament's best outside hitter.
Apart from Italy, there are also names of players from the Japanese national team who have finalist status and have won individual titles.
For her impressive performance, Chisato Hanaoka was named the tournament's best setter. Hanaoka's teammate, Ami Uchizawa, was named the best libero. Sae Omori followed suit, winning the individual award for best outside hitter.
