Indonesian men's doubles pair Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana have confirmed they will maximize their debut at the 2025 BWF World Championships in Paris, France, from August 25-31, by using the experience of previous tournaments as a lesson.
"Our preparations are currently quite good. We're still working on the shortcomings from the previous tournament and trying to play more enjoyably . In this world championship, we want the best possible result," said Leo at the PBSI Cipayung National Training Center.
Leo, who was previously injured, said his current focus is on regaining his physical condition, especially his legs, and improving his strength and hand power. He also emphasized the importance of consistency on the pitch, particularly in protecting points from easy balls.
Throughout this season, Leo/Bagas have competed in nine tournaments. Their best result was a runner-up finish at the All England Super 1000 (March 11-16).
