Persija Jakarta coach Mauricio Souza is delighted that four of his players have been called up to the Indonesian national team, both at senior and youth level.
Two center-backs, Jordi Amat and captain Rizky Ridho, have been called up to the Indonesian national team, which will face Taiwan and Lebanon on FIFA Match Day in September. Meanwhile, two young players, Rayhan Hannan and Dony Tri Pamungkas, have been called up to the U23 national team, which will compete in the U23 Asian Cup qualifiers.
"I congratulate them. They are great players. They deserve to be on the national team. That's what I always say. Playing for the national team is the pinnacle (of a career). So, congratulations to them. I hope they represent Indonesia well," Souza said at a press conference after the BRI Super League match against Dewa United at Banten International Stadium, Serang.
