Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia has invited private gas stations (SPBU), namely Shell and BP, to purchase fuel oil (BBM) from Pertamina.
"If there's still a shortage, (private gas stations) can buy from Pertamina," Bahlil said when met after the inauguration of the Director General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jakarta, Friday.
Bahlil stated that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has allocated an additional fuel import quota for private gas stations of 10 percent compared to the 2024 fuel import quota.
For example, he continued, if company A in 2024 obtained a fuel import quota of 100 million kiloliters (KL), then in 2025 the government would have increased the fuel import quota to 110 million KL.
