Newcastle United completed the signing of Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa, with British media reporting the Magpies paid £39 million for the player.The former England U-21 international did not feature in the 0-0 Premier League draw between the two teams.
Ramsey becomes Newcastle's fourth signing of the summer after they previously brought in Anthony Elanga, Aaron Ramsdale and Malick Thiaw.
"I'm delighted to be here. The last two or three days have been absolutely crazy, but I'm delighted to be here and can't wait to get started," Ramsey said, as quoted on Newcastle's official website.
