English club Nottingham Forest has officially announced the transfer of Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz from Serie A club Juventus in the summer of 2025.
As quoted from the Nottingham Forest website in Jakarta on Friday, Douglas Luiz joins on loan with an obligation to make the move permanent at the end of the season if a certain number of appearances is met.
"The Brazilian midfielder is on loan for the full season, with an option to make the move permanent next summer," Nottingham Forest said in a statement.
Nottingham Forest did not specify the loan fee or any plans to buy Luiz. However, according to The Athletic, Nottingham Forest could also make the player's move permanent for around €30 million (approximately Rp567 billion) if the matchday requirement is not met.
