Nvidia is reportedly preparing a new artificial intelligence (AI) chip for sale in China with half the performance of its flagship GPU, the B300 Blackwell.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Wednesday, the new chip, codenamed B30A, is said to be more powerful than the H20 GPU, a model currently still permitted for sale in China.
However, unlike the B300, which uses a dual-die design , the B30A will use a single-die design . However, this chip still offers similar features to the H20, such as fast data transmission, NVLink support, and high-bandwidth memory.
