Artificial intelligence (AI) company OpenAI has officially announced that its latest AI model, GPT-5, is now available to all ChatGPT users and developers.
This news was conveyed directly by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, who said that GPT-5 is his flagship AI model with the most significant leap compared to its predecessors.
As reported by The Verge, Friday, GPT-5 is claimed to be a model that is smarter, faster, and less likely to provide inaccurate responses.
At a press conference, Sam Altman compared OpenAI's AI models to forms of communication according to educational level.
"GPT-3 feels like talking to a high school student," he said.
He further said, "GPT-4 felt like talking to a student. GPT-5 is the first time users have truly felt like they are talking to a PhD-level expert."
