Persik Kediri lost 1-2 to visiting team Madura United in the 2025/2026 BRI Super League match at Gelora Joko Samudro Stadium, Gresik Regency, East Java, Saturday (16/8).
Persik Kediri's goal came from Imanol Garcia in the 90+3rd minute. Madura United's two goals were scored by foreign players Iran Junior in the third minute and Taufany Muslihuddin in the 87th minute.
In that match, Persik, the home team, played aggressively from the start. However, as they continued to press, their defense let down, allowing their opponents to score a goal just three minutes into the match through Iran Junior.
