Poland won the 2025 Men's Volleyball Nations League (VNL) after defeating Italy 25-22, 25-19, 25-14 in the final held in Ningbo, China, on Sunday.
According to the FIVB website in Jakarta on Sunday, this success makes the Polish men's team a two-time VNL champion, following a similar achievement in 2023.
In the match against Italy, Poland dominated from the start, giving Italy no chance to develop their game.
However, Poland struggled in the first set before outside hitter Kamil Semeniuk netted a shot to put his team ahead of Italy 25-22.
In the second set, Italy improved their performance but remained behind. After that, Poland became even more unstoppable, with middle blocker Szymon Jakubiszak's late effort sealing a 25-14 victory in the third set, securing the 2025 VNL Men's Championship title.
