Prateeptienchai sets record, wins Mandiri Indonesia Open 2025

Thai golfer Suteepat Prateeptienchai made history by winning the 2025 Mandiri Indonesia Open title and breaking the record for the lowest winning score ever at the tournament at the Pondok Indah Golf Course.

Suteepat recorded a total score of 264, or 24-under-par, surpassing the previous record of 265 held by Panuphol Pittayarat (Thailand) in 2017. The 32-year-old secured the title after an impressive final round with five birdies and two eagles.

"The turning point was on the sixth hole, when I made an eagle from 254 yards. After that, I took a comfortable lead," Suteepat said after the match, as quoted in a written statement.

The victory marked Suteepat's fourth title on the Asian Tour, and his first outside Taiwan, having won his previous three titles in the country.

"Everyone said I could only win in Taiwan. So I'm very happy with this win," he said.

Indonesia holds special meaning for Suteepat, who won three Asian Development Tour (ADT) titles in 2022, earning him a 2023 Asian Tour card.
