PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir announced that his side has extended Satoru Mochizuki's contract, which was originally due to expire in December this year.
This contract extension will allow the Japanese man to be behind the scenes of the Indonesian women's national team for longer, after previously being shifted from the position of head coach to a Technical Advisor due to his failure to bring Garuda Pertiwi to a big talk in the 2026 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers in mid-July.
"We've extended (Satoru) Mochizuki's contract until December to become a Technical Advisor," Erick said at a press conference at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.
