Bali United youngster Kadek Arel spoke about the competition with foreign players in the Super League, which will see its quota increased to 11 players next season.
These eleven players are the quota that I.League, as the league operator, is allowed to register, with a maximum of nine players being included in the player roster (DSP) and seven players playing in one match.
"Yes, for me, this season has definitely improved. There may be changes in regulations. And that's also a good thing for us as young players. We've learned a lot from our seniors and foreign players. And we hope we can also have a lot to talk about next season," Kadek said to the media after attending the OPPO-BRI Super League collaboration event at On3, Jakarta, on Thursday.
Not only Kadek, another young Bali United player, Rahmat Arjuna, also welcomed the upcoming season positively, despite the increase in the foreign player quota.
"Maybe yes, the competition has increased," said Rahmat, who is also Kadek's teammate on the U-23 national team.
