Realme's Head of Product Marketing, Francis Wong, promised to present three Android OS updates for five of its cellphone models, namely the 14 Pro+, 14 Pro, 14T, 15pro, and 15.
GSM Arena reported on Saturday that the smartphone manufacturer will also promise to provide security patches for four years.
Not only that, the party also ensures that the Android OS update will not only be felt by owners of these five models.
Realme ensures that owners of other models will also receive the new Android OS update.
Other models that will also receive the Android OS update are Realme "Number Pro", "Number T", and "Number".
This promise is also to strengthen the brand so that it can compete with Samsung in the same class.
However, Realme has not provided any new information regarding the promised updates for its flagship GT series, nor its lower-end devices.
As of now, there's no clarity on how often the Number series phones mentioned above will receive security patches—monthly, for example, bimonthly or quarterly.
