Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid stated that the synergy between the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) is the right step to make the national digital transformation a success.
For example, to ensure equal distribution of internet connectivity to underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) areas, the TNI is involved in determining strategic points that require and securing their infrastructure so that the Ministry of Communication and Digital can provide optimal internet access.
"The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs is building connectivity in the Papua region in collaboration with our colleagues in the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), especially those assigned there," said Meutya in a press statement received.
Meutya appreciated the synergy and hoped that similar collaborations could continue to develop in the future so that regions facing security challenges could also benefit from national digitalization.
This is also important considering that equitable digital connectivity is a step towards the success of the Digital Indonesia Vision 2045.
